I did a random google search 4 years ago and came across New York Gates... like everything in NYC I was suspicious at first as I had never dealt with having a garage door or even a gate installed... Fast forward to now and not only do they do a great job but have consistently done so ever since... Benny is just the greatest and super friendly and honest, His Crew is just STELLAR nicest guys that know what they're doing show up when you call and get the job done so fast with absolutely no issues. Overhead door gets stuck on the track all the time. Benny sometimes doesn't show up for an appointment and sometimes shows up with glazed eyes. Puts in a single family rated lift for a multifamily project. And the installer puts the exit button on the passenger side when you are exiting the driveway. Refuses to fix it. And Benny will definitely give you a list of 20 excuses when you try to have them come back for warranty service.

Does anyone think they can reach that exit button when they are driving out of the parking garage?

Called to get an appointment to have an entry replaced.

Benny came out and gave me a price that was expensive but I said whatever, I just want it done. Every week after that he avoided giving me a firm date on installation, lied to me about "ordering the part", and basically gave me the run around. Avoid this company.

EDIT : Not a spam review, I have your cellphone number and spoke to you numerous times. Stop lying and maybe instead of spending your time responding to "fake reviews" you can finish what you start.

Never install any gates from them.

We installed brand new gates from them, after 3 weeks, one gate motor is not working completely. They took 2 months to fix it, and we could not close our gate for 2 months during winter time. What is worse, they did not install back our control box. Now we try to contact Benny the owner, he blocks all our telephone lines. Watch our this company, never ever do business with them!!!!
